The cup is neither half full or empty, rather the cup is refillable

So many times we tell ourselves to look at the brighter side, be optimistic, look for silver linings, shift our perspective etc. and that is all well and good but we must also remember that in life the only constant is change.

This was such a beautiful quote I heard yesterday and I had to share it today with my readers.

So many times we tell ourselves to look at the brighter side, be optimistic, look for silver linings, shift our perspective etc. and that is all well and good but we must also remember that in life the only constant is change.

We can improve our situation or condition.

The serenity prayer includes the courage to change the things we can and that is how we refill our glass.

It just takes us being patient, being diligent, planning out our actions and taking steady steps.

Opportunities to refill our glass are all around us, so we must be calm and take advantage of situations. But opportunities can only be maximised when we prepare ourselves to capitalise on them.

So we must be introspective to know what we want and what we value. A few minutes of mindfulness & mediation every hour can help centre us and if we examine our thoughts we may get a pick into our through desires and purpose.

We must ask ourselves that one question:

What one thing if I accomplish NOW will have significant impact on my business/work or career and life?

Then centre our lives around accomplishing this goal. With our thoughts and actions we create our own reality because everything is created at least twice – first in the mind.

And as much as perception is reality, reality is also perception because you must believe you can before you can. Here is to always having or working towards a full glass!

God bless.
